My Life in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada Canada day
Canada day is July first. This is the day of Canada’s birthday. Every one gets together with family and, friends go camping, fishing, golfing but most go to Riverside Park here in Kamloops to celebrate this special day which is called Canada day. At Riverside Park people of all nationalities gather to set up booths with their culture foods and clothing. There are Chinese, Italian, Russian, Greek and many many more .Canada's birthday is celebrated by singing and dancing. Here is where people unite and show no difference as we are all one. At Riverside Park every year there are about 30,000 people of all walks of life . It is a very very happy day for all .Canadian flags wave on this day and a large cake is made for this day. This special day ends with fire crackers. This special day is put on by the city. I hope to celebrate Canada Day this year and experience it first hand.
